Tamarind Juice: Health Benefits and Recipe
As a child, Tamarind juice was one of my favourite DIY recipes as it was super simple to make. Just thinking about the gem unlocks a huge part of my childhood memories. Here is my do to and easy to try recipe. It is budget friendly, super healthy, refreshing and tasty. First, let me start by sharing the benefits of Tamarind.

TAMARIND JUICE RECIPE
Ingredients
- Tamarind fruit
- Cloves
- Ginger
- Sugar or Honey
- Ice cubes (Optional)
Procedure
- Add some hot water and soak dry tamarind fruit in water for a couple of hours.
- With your hands, extract as much pulp as you can. Alternatively, you can put in a bottle and shake thoroughly.
- Strain the juice and discard the seeds.
- Blend Ginger and cloves with water.
- Strain the mixture and add your tamarind juice.
- The mixture might be a little thick, you may want to add some more water to your desired thickness.
- Add sugar or honey to sweeten.
- Serve chilled
